Hope against covid-19: Ozone therapy could be the best adjuvant option
Given the re-incidence of COVID-19 in India – the fact that we are now grappling with an inevitable second wave, there has also been the examination of alternate therapies to solve the problem. COVID-19 is a disease which affects the sensory organs, the pulmonary function and as we have seen is fatal. Not to be taken lightly.
Research shows: ozone kills ToBRFV in drain water
Disinfecting drain water with ozone very effectively eliminates the presence of Tomato Brown Rugose Fruit Virus (ToBRFV). This is the conclusion of Groen Agro Control after research in its laboratory. The news is a boost for tomato growers and plant breeders. They can use this disinfection method to eliminate a risk factor for spreading the feared virus and safely reuse their drain water after disinfection
The oxidizing power of ozone convinces more and more farmers
Ozone as a disinfectant agent is gaining more and more followers in agriculture. Thanks to its great oxidizing power, this substance is capable of destroying the majority of fungi, viruses, and bacteria that affect crops, which allows producers to increase their productivity and decrease their use of chemical products.
PLASMA AIR PURIFICATION
U.S. Meatpackers Install Plasma Air’s Ionization Systems in Plants to Help Prevent the Spread of COVID-19
The world’s largest meatpackers have installed Plasma Air’s air purification systems in their U.S. processing plants. The decision comes as pressure increases on food companies to protect workers from growing concerns about airborne transmission of COVID-19.
The World Health Organization acknowledged “evidence emerging” of the airborne spread of the novel coronavirus, Reuters reported. While U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has recommended meat companies consider ventilation options in work areas with engineers, it has not required any changes to air systems.
JBS installed Plasma Air’s ionization systems in some of its U.S. plants. In third party testing, Plasma Air’s ionizers demonstrated a reduction in Coronavirus surrogate of 99% airborne and 80% on surfaces in just 10 minutes. The technology utilizes bipolar ionization to safely neutralize airborne viruses and bacteria.
